The Central Coast should be proud of itself. I have found wines from there that are consistenly great and priced wonderfully. For instance this 2008 Wild Horse Pinot Noir. It was a $14.00 Costco find that I’m going to get more of at this moment. Seek it out if you’re a daily sipper you won’t be disappointed. All three of the friends I shared this with tonight really liked it a lot.
Wild Horse’s tasting room is located just south of Paso Robles, CA. They make a few wines exclusive to their tasting room. If this Pinot is any indication of what their more “exclusive” wines are like than this place may very well be worth the visit!
